Marietta, GA - Marietta High School (MHS) Blue Devil Head Coach, Friday Richards, today announced his retirement. He will continue teaching on a part-time basis at MHS in the 2010-2011 school year.

“Coach Friday has played a significant role in what we know to be the best of Marietta football and track history and tradition. His heart, love for his players, and commitment to their college acceptance are his greatest legacy,” said Leigh Colburn, MHS Principal. “Coach Friday is a true Blue Devil.
