MCAA Named 2012
SMART Showcase School
Students/Teachers benefit from
21st-century learning environment

Marietta, GA - Marietta Center for Advanced Academics (MCAA) has been selected to join an exclusive, global network of schools as part of the SMART Showcase School program. SMART Showcase Schools demonstrate how SMART products can transform classrooms and improve learning outcomes. They serve as host sites for educators who are interested in implementing SMART products – and receive benefits, including professional development opportunities. There are more than 300 SMART Showcase Schools worldwide.

MCAA teachers and administrators have played a very hands-on role in the implementation of the technology plan and the installation of SMART products to ensure students – and teachers – get the most from the technology investment. "SMART products have introduced a truly interactive technology experience for students in our school," states Jennifer Hernandez, MCAA principal.

MCAA prides itself on setting performance measures for both teachers and students, and enriching the learning experience wherever possible. Parents, community members and business partners strongly support the school's innovation and commitment to education.
