Aspen Family Portal
Marietta City Schools (MCS) parents/guardians now have access to a new program to view their child's grades and attendance. Aspen, the new MCS student information system provides a parent support feature: Aspen Family Portal (AFP) that replaces i-Parent, the former grades and attendance program for parents.

If you have not received Aspen Family Portal login credentials by mail, you may create an AFP account online
The first-time you login to the Aspen Family Portal, you must complete the following steps to setup your full Aspen Family Portal access:
Click on the Initiate button in the Task box on the screen to begin. Once you click on the Initiate button, a pop-up box labeled "Initiate Workflow" should appear on your screen.
Step 1
From the "Initiate Workflow" screen click on the picture of the magnifying glass located on the line labeled "User". This will open a screen showing the names of the parents/guardians listed for this student. Select your name from the list and click "next" to proceed to Step 2.
Step 2
Read the Marietta City Schools Aspen Family Portal Terms of Use, scroll down the page and click on the "I Agree" box to accept the Terms of Use. Click "next" to proceed to Step 3.
Step 3
On the new screen, click "Finish". Congratulations! You have completed the AFP registration process. For full access to the AFP you must logoff. The next time you login to your account you should have access to all currently active features of the Aspen Family Portal.
If you still can't see your children's information, contact Aspen Help Desk
A smaller window will pop up.
Select the SECURITY tab and click CHANGE next to the "Password" option.
Passwords must meet certain requirements. You can optionally view the requirements by clicking CLICK TO VIEW.
Enter your
new password twice to confirm, then click OK.
