The Marietta Community School offers dozens of continuing education classes. Most of these classes are held after work to give you time to learn a new craft, perfect your skills and meet new friends!

After-School and Before-School Programs
BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
The Before & After School Programs are the perfect options for children in need of early morning and/or late afternoon supervised activities. Our programs include breakfast, snack, supervised homework completion, arts & crafts, quiet games, reading corner and computer lab.

Holiday Camp
HOLIDAY CAMPS
The Marietta Community School will offer childcare during specific school holidays throughout the school year. Holiday Camps are held at the Marietta Center for Advanced Academics (MCAA) and will offer campers a wide range of fun and engaging activities.

Summer Camp
SUMMER CAMP
Registration for the 2020 Summer Camp will open in January 2020! The Summer Camp Program is a fun instructional program structured specifically for summertime. Campers enjoy field trips, camp carnival, outdoor activities, special events and surprise visitors.

Driver’s Education
The Georgia Driver's Education Commission is offering a scholarship program that will cover the cost of a 30/6 Driver's Ed program for teens ages 15 - 17 who hold a Driver's Permit. To apply for a scholarship, visit www.georgiadrivers.ga.gov.
To redeem your student's scholarship with our program, you must call 678-919-4492. Scholarships can only be used for the purchase of the 30/6 program. Redemption of the scholarship must occur prior to the first day of the 30-hour class, no exceptions. Limited seats available per session and/or per scholarship expiration date.
30/6 DRIVER'S ED PROGRAM
Includes: 30 Hours of classroom instruction, ADAP & 6 hours of Behind-the-Wheel instruction

Marietta/Cobb Driver’s Education provides high quality, low cost instruction for teen drivers with the goal of saving lives.
MCDE is a joint program of the Marietta and Cobb County school systems. Our courses are offered to all high school students, ages 15 – 18, and they do not have to attend Marietta or Cobb County schools to participate.
We offer the 30-hour Joshua's Law classes and 6-Hour Behind-the-Wheel instruction courses.Classes are offered in various locations throughout Cobb, Bartow and Fulton Counties.

6-HOURS DRIVING ONLY PROGRAM

Marietta/Cobb Driver’s Education provides high quality, low cost instruction for teen drivers with the goal of saving lives.
MCDE is a joint program of the Marietta and Cobb County school systems. Courses are offered to all high school students, ages 15 – 18, regardless of school system affiliation.
6-Hour Behind-the-Wheel only courses are offered at the MCDE main lot in Marietta City and at the Bartow College and Career Academy.

EXTRA DRIVING SESSIONS
COST: $95 per 2-hour session
Extra driving lessons are available to our students who have completed either the 30/6 program or the 6-hour driving instruction program with Marietta/Cobb Driver’s Education AND are within three years of the start date of their initial instruction AND between the ages of 15 - 19 years of age. Extra lessons are sold in two hour increments time.We also provide a 2-hour Refresher Course for students who have completed our program and are almost ready to test for their license but would like to brush up on the skills needed to pass the Road Skills Test. The Refresher course costs $95. Be sure to contact us at least two weeks prior to student's Road Skills Test appointment to ensure we can fulfill request.

ROAD SKILLS TESTING
COST: $95
The Georgia Department of Driver Services has certified the Marietta/Cobb Driver’s Ed Program and its specially trained examiners to function as a state approved testing facility in which to administer the Road Skills Test as needed for teens to receive their Provisional Class D or Class C Georgia Driver’s License.
This service is only available for students that have completed and passed the 30/6 Driver’s Ed program with Marietta/Cobb Driver’s Education. Also, eligible students must have completed the 30/6 course within three years of the Road Skills Test appointment, otherwise, the student is no longer eligible to test with Marietta/Cobb Driver’s Education..
