About Marietta High School
Marietta City Schools is a system rich in tradition, yet future-focused and results-driven. At MCS we value and support academic achievement and literacy. We have implemented many new initiatives in response to the ever-changing opportunities and challenges of educating and preparing tomorrow's leaders.
Our difference is Excellence, and excellence means remaining focused on our mission "To prepare each of our students through academic achievement for college, career, and life success." We do this by developing curriculum and programs that meet and effectively serve the educational needs of all students, and fulfill the academic rigor demanded by Georgia's new Common Core State Standards (CCSS).
