Red Ribbon Week | October 21 - 25, 2019
October is National Anti-Bullying month. To recognize Anti-Bullying, MSGA constantly makes an effort to remind students about the importance of being respectful to others. The anti-bullying theme will be combined with the National Drug Free, Red Ribbon Week which will be celebrated nationally from October 23 - 31. However, MSGA will honor this week from October 21 – 25. Please help us welcome Red Ribbon Week by encouraging students to participate in the following ways:
Monday- Students will receive red bracelets. They are encouraged to wear them throughout the week.
Tuesday- “Turn your back on drugs and bullying”- Students can wear their uniform shirt backwards.
Wednesday- “Put a Cap on drugs and bullying”- For $1 students can wear a hat to support being drug and bully free. Students will pay $1 and receive a sticker saying “Put a Cap on Drugs.” They will be allowed to wear the hat all day.
Thursday- “Sock it to drugs and bullying”- Students can wear crazy socks to show that they are drug free.
Friday- “Red-y to live a drug free life”- Students can wear their MSGA spirit shirt or a solid red colored shirt to show that they are drug and bullying free.
