Andrea Gutierrez is our newest ESOL teacher, she will be working half-time with kindergarten and second grade. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a M.A.T in Art Education, and earned her ESOL endorsement through the Marietta City ESOL certification program. Andrea loves the outdoors! She enjoys rock climbing, hanging out with her two dogs, exploring new places and creating works of art.
Catherine Hettrich graduated with a BA in Education from Moravian College- Bethlehem, PA in 1986. In 1998 she received her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University as well as her ESOL endorsement and in 2010 she earned her Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. To maintain balance, when Mrs. Hettrich is not teaching, you can find her knitting, reading, gardening and spending time with family and friends.Lela Horne has been a teacher for 21 years and an ESOL teacher for 14 of those years. She has taught in elementary and middle school settings and one day would enjoy the challenges of high school. In her spare time, she serves the ESOL community by working with the GATESOL organizationDeepali Patel has taught for Marietta City Schools for 16 years. She completed her undergraduate studies at Kennesaw State University and the University of Georgia, and her graduate level studies at Walden University. In her free time, Deepali enjoys dancing, practicing yoga, reading, and outdoor activities.Lydia Spruill has been teaching for 12 years at Sawyer Road Elementary. She has been teaching ESOL for four years. In her free time she enjoys reading and being a soccer mom.Jennifer Williams has been teaching for seven years. She earned her undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. She recently earned her Masters degree from Kennesaw State University. She enjoys spending her free time with her 14 year old twins, traveling and attending sporting events.
