My Child is Struggling in School, How Can I Help?
Begin by contacting your child's teacher for tips and suggestions on what you can do to support your child. If you need additional assistance, or have further concerns, please reach out to Ms. Heather Welch at hwelch@marietta-city.org for intervention support and help.
Please keep in mind, in order to be promoted to the next grade, students need to pass all of their core classes and receive a passing score and Lexile level on the Georgia Milestones Assessment.
Students will automatically be placed on the retention list if they do NOT pass all core classes, if they fail the Georgia Milestones Assessment, and/or do not receive the minimum required Lexile score.
