Tutoring @ MHS is free and designed to meet the needs of all students.

With tutoring, students can:

• Catch Up! By completing missing assignments or working on a project
• Keep Up! With 1:1 and small group instruction in math, science, and reading, and Writing Lab assistance with papers, college, and scholarship essays.
• Level Up! With 1:1 and small group instruction for advanced courses.

Our Master Classes teach students something new about themselves and their lives. Whether its coaching on time management, healthy coping skills, or how to make your college dreams come true (even if you don't think it's possible), we provide unique learning sessions throughout the year with experts in our community.

Monday and Wednesday Math Tutoring

40-minute math tutoring blocks will be offered with Ms. Regina McKinney on Mondays from 9:30 am - 2:30 pm and Tuesdays from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm.

Any math teacher, counselor, grad coach, MTSS facilitator, or administrator can request tutoring sessions for a student by completing the 2022-2023 Math Tutoring Reservation Form.

Tuesday and Thursday Afterschool Tutoring

Get tutoring in math, science, or writing, or work on your missing assignments and projects!

Afterschool tutoring is offered on select Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-5:00 pm, with bus transportation and snacks provided.

Saturday "Catch-Up" Sessions

Saturday tutoring and study block sessions are available on select Saturdays from 9:15-11:45 am at the Woods Wilkins Campus (350 Lemon Street). Available Saturdays can be found on the 2022-2023 Saturday Tutoring calendar.
