With a diverse student population that reflects the world in which we live and work, Marietta High School does more than prepare students for college or vocations. We help children build upon on their individual strengths through a myriad of specialized coursework and advanced technology. The Marietta High School International Baccalaureate (IB) Program is a four-year comprehensive and rigorous academic program leading to examinations for students in grades nine through twelve. The general objectives of the IB are to provide students with a balanced education; to facilitate geographic and cultural mobility; and to promote international understanding through a shared academic experience. In the thirty years since its founding, the IB Diploma has become a symbol of academic integrity and intellectual promise.
