Welcome to Kindergarten at Marietta City Schools!
We are thrilled to invite families with rising kindergarten students to join us for our upcoming preview events, designed to provide insight into our kindergarten programs and answer any questions you may have. Building this connection early can ease the transition and set the stage for a positive and successful Kindergarten experience. We can't wait to meet you and your future Marietta Blue Devil!
Please mark your calendars for these important dates:
- Saturday, July 18, 2026 — MCS Health, Fun, and Family Wellness
Students can receive free vision, hearing, dental, and nutrition screenings for their Form 3300, which is required for registration, all while having fun.
- Thursday, July 30, 2026 — Ready, Set, Ride! – Bus Preview Day
Kindergartners and first-time bus riders can take a practice run on Thursday, July 30. Students will be picked up at their bus stop with a family member, ride to school, and return home — so the first day of school isn't also the first bus ride.
- Monday, August 3, 2026 (see chart below for times) — Sneak-A-Peek
Meet your teachers, visit your classrooms, and get excited about the first day of school!
