About the MHS Media Center

  • The Media Center at Marietta High School includes over 30,000 titles, a growing eBook library, audio/visual equipment, computers for general use and printing, access to research databases, and a fully-equipped MakerSpace.

    Media Specialists collaborate with teachers and administrators to create, enhance, and deliver instruction, and work with all patrons to nurture Media and Technological Literacy.

    Hours

    The Marietta High School Media Center is open:

    • Monday to Wednesday: 7:15 am-3:00 pm
    • Thursday: 7:15 am-3:30pm
    • Friday: 7:15 am-2:30pm

    Library Use

    All students, with a pass from a teacher, are welcomed to the Media Center during school hours.

    Book and Equipment Check-Out

    Students may check out up to five books for fifteen school days. Audio/Visual equipment may be checked out for up to one week.

    Payment information for Lost or Damaged Materials

    Use RevTrak to pay for a misplaced Media Center book online.

    Go online to pay for a misplaced textbook or other fees.

    Revtrak can also be used to settle outstanding Technology fines online.

    IF student has unpaid Sports Medicine fines, they need to see J. Hopp.  

    Once paid, please send a screen shot of your paid receipt to Laura Gary-Michel at LGary-Michel@marietta-city.k12.ga.us. Please include your name and what fine you paid.

    Computer Use

    Students are expected to follow the MCS Internet Acceptable Use Policy. Print services are available for all patrons, including full-color and large-format printing.

Lunch in the Library

  • How to Get a Pass

    To access the library during your lunch, an online pass is now required. To sign up and receive an online pass, fill out the online Library Lunch Pass Request form, and take a screenshot to show Admin and Hall Monitors a copy of your signup. You include your school email when reserving a pass, which can also be used as proof.
