Each student playing on an athletic team at Marietta High School must be eligible under the regualtions established by the Georgia High School Association and the Marietta Board of Education. The major requirements for eligibility are:
1. Current Athletic Physical, Insurance Information and Consent Form must be on file in the Athletic Office and doctor's examiniation must be dated on or after April 1, 2018, to be valid for the 2018-19 school year. New forms must be completed each year. (The 2018-19 form is yellow).
2. Must have passed 6 courses from the previous semester.
3. Must be "on track" toward graduation (5 total credits after first year, 11 total credits after second year, 17 total credits after third year).
Marietta High School has been named a Safe Sports School 1st Team.
