Our School Initiatives
This school year, Lockheed ES has worked collaboratively to develop a new Strategic Plan for School Improvement. This plan aligns to our district's Strategic Plan and has four focus areas:
1. Student Achievement
2. Human Capital and Development
3. Community Collaboration
4. Fiscal Responsibility
Our school will work diligently support the success all students by implementing researched based instructional practices and make data-driven decisions that will drive the direction of our academic program. We will support teachers through ongoing opportunities for professional learning that aligns to our instructional program and supports their individual professional growth. Our goal is to engage our parents through ongoing communications, workshops and school events to create a more informed and active parent community. We will also work to increase our community collaborations by connecting with local businesses and organizations that will support the needs of our school. Through effective budgeting, we will be resourceful and responsible with expenditures to ensure all spending is aligned to our strategic plan and benefits the needs of our school community and facilities.
