Award-winning volleyball coach selected to bring championship mindset to MHS

Marietta, GAMarietta City Schools is pleased to welcome Helen Walker as the new Head Volleyball Coach at Marietta High School. Walker brings over 14 years of coaching experience, including a decorated tenure at A5 Volleyball Club, where her teams have consistently ranked among the best in the nation.

“Coach Walker brings a wealth of competitive experience, but more importantly, she brings a passion for mentoring student-athletes and building strong team culture,” said Dr. Rivera. “She will be a tremendous addition to our athletics program.”

Walker also served on the coaching staff at Emory University during the program’s run to the NCAA Division III national championship match.

“Marietta is a special place, and I’m honored to be a part of it,” said Walker. “I’m excited to build something meaningful with our student-athletes and help them grow both on and off the court.”

With the addition of a new volleyball coach, Marietta City Schools reaffirms its commitment to strong, student-centered leadership on the court, in the classroom, and across every campus.
