Marietta City Schools Earns 2025 Top Workplaces Industry Award

Marietta, GA – Marietta City Schools (MCS) has been named a 2025 Top Workplaces Industry Award winner by Energage, a national organization that recognizes organizations with exceptional workplace cultures based entirely on employee feedback.

The Top Workplaces Industry Award honors education organizations across the country that prioritize a people-first culture. MCS is one of only 21 large educational institutions nationwide to earn the distinction this year.

“Recognition like this is powerful because it comes directly from our people,” said Dr. Grant Rivera, Superintendent of Marietta City Schools. “We believe every adult in our district plays a critical role in helping students succeed, and we work just as hard to support our staff as they do to support our kids.”

The award is based on results from an anonymous, research-backed employee engagement survey that evaluates key areas such as alignment, connection, and organizational health. The honor underscores the district’s commitment to fostering a workplace where all employees feel supported, respected, and inspired.

Administered by Energage, the Top Workplaces program has recognized organizations for 19 years and collected data from more than 70,000 companies and 23 million surveys.
