Marietta City Schools Named a 2026 Atlanta Top Workplaces Winner

MARIETTA, Ga. – Marietta City Schools has been named a 2026 Atlanta Top Workplaces winner, one of just 79 organizations with more than 500 employees in Metro Atlanta to earn the honor this year.

The award, administered by Energage and Top Workplaces, is based entirely on anonymous MCS staff feedback collected through a research-backed employee engagement survey. Top Workplaces has spent 19 years surveying and celebrating people-first organizations nationally and across 60 regional markets.

Superintendent Grant Rivera said the recognition carries weight because it comes from our employees.

"Our teachers and staff show up for our kids every single day, and they don't do it for recognition," Rivera said. "But it means something when they know the work is seen. I'm proud of our people, and I'm grateful to work alongside them."
