MCS art teacher showcases talent at KSU's "Playful Encounters" Exhibition

MCS art teacher showcases talent at KSU's "Playful Encounters" Exhibition

In an art classroom of Marietta Middle School, where creativity flows as freely as paint on a canvas, Gina Trickett has been inspiring young artists for years. This fall, the roles have reversed as she showcases her own artistic talents at Kennesaw State University's Zuckerman Museum of Art.

Trickett is among a select group of metro Atlanta art educators featured in the Third Biennial Exhibition for Art Educators, titled "Playful Encounters." The exhibit runs now through October 4, celebrating the personal artwork of pre-K to 12th-grade teachers who usually guide others in creative exploration.

With Fall Break in full swing, families are invited to explore "Playful Encounters" and support Trickett. The exhibition offers a unique opportunity to experience the artistry of those who shape the creative minds of our students.
