Superintendent Dr. Rivera honors top graduating students at 'Super 50' ceremony

Marietta, GA– Marietta City Schools and Superintendent Dr. Grant Rivera welcomed the Class of 2025’s top 50 scholars to the third annual “Super 50” ceremony at the Marietta Performing Arts Center on Sunday, May 4. The ceremony honored both their remarkable academic achievements and the mentors who championed them every step of the way.

“Behind every high achiever is a family member who sparks curiosity and fuels growth long before the first school bell rings,” Dr. Rivera said. “This celebration allows us to shine a light not only on our outstanding students, but on the dedicated adults whose guidance made their success possible.”

Each honoree was presented with a ‘Super 50’ medal alongside the special adult who inspired their journey. A childhood photo paired with personal messages provided a nostalgic look back at how far these scholars have come and how ready they are for the road ahead.

These standouts are among the 580 seniors expected to graduate on May 22 at Northcutt Stadium, leaving a legacy of inspiration for future Marietta Blue Devils.
