Student of the Month - A.L. Burruss

January Student of the Month
Chloè Hobby

Marietta City Schools is proud to announce Chloe Hobby, a fourth grader at A.L. Burruss Elementary, as a January District Student of the Month. Chloe embodies the entire spirit of being a Burruss Beaver. She is smart and intelligent, constantly seeking to learn more. In the classroom, she has learned to lean on the support of her classmates and teachers to help her overcome obstacles and move past challenges. Because of this support, Chloe advocates for herself and for others around her. Creativity is a word that only begins to describe Chloe. She is an avid creator, from making her own products to sell for charities to even inventing her own machines. She goes through books faster than she can keep them in her hands and also loves to write her own stories. In addition to her hobbies, Chloe loves helping others. She welcomes new students to school and helps maintain the school learning garden. She is also involved in Girls on the Run and Girl Scouts. We congratulate Chloe on being a January District Student of the Month!
