Board Appoints Diona McIntire as Principal, Park Street Elementary School

The Board of Education of the City of Marietta has named Diona McIntire as the new Principal of Park Street Elementary. 
Principal McIntire comes to Park Street with over 10 years of public education experience, including K-12 administration. She currently serves as the Assistant Principal for New Prospect Elementary in the Fulton County School District.
A passionate, bilingual leader, McIntire takes pride in building relationships with staff, students, parents and community members.
“I am especially passionate about the infusion and use of technology to educate and advance students in this age of technological expansion,” said McIntire. “My goal is to serve our students, staff and community to help make a positive impact and difference in our students’ lives.”
McIntire’s personal academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Education from the University of Delaware, Masters in Educational Leadership from Argosy University and an Education Specialist Degree from Kennesaw State University.
McIntire will host a community reception May 22, 2018 at 6:30 PM in the Park Street Media Center. The Park Street school community is invited to come out and meet their new school leadership team.
McIntire will assume the post July 1, 2018.
