Students and Employee of the Month
Student of the Month - Annie Stewart
Marietta City Schools is proud to announce Annie Stewart, pre-kindergarten student at the Emily Lembeck Early Learning Center, as a November District Student of the Month. As a member of the Firefly class, Annie loves her friends and classmates. She is always willing to help them with a task and eager to extend a helping hand. During playtime, Annie is the first to offer her toys to her friends and enjoys sharing.
With her schoolwork, Annie is very attentive and always finishes her work. She takes each assignment seriously and tries her hardest to follow directions and participate in small group instruction. Because of this, Annie demonstrates excellent leadership skills and is often a perfect role model for others. We congratulate Annie on being a November District Student of the Month.
Student of the Month - Guilianna Spano
Marietta City Schools is proud to announce Guilianna Spano, third-grade student at Sawyer Road Elementary School, as a November District Student of the Month. Every day, Guilianna works hard to increase her fact fluency and crush third-grade standards by staying dedicated to working in and out of school to accomplish her goals. Focused on her dreams, Guilianna quickly takes directions from her teachers, continually improves her work, and always smiles through every rough patch she faces.
When she isn’t working on growing her math skills, Guilianna loves to serve the community with her Girl Scout Troop 20080. Together they participate in cleanup initiatives, clothing drives, and any other event that involves giving back to her community. She has a faithful servant’s heart. We congratulate Guilianna on being a November District Student of the Month.
Employee of the Month - Rhonda Staley-Harrison
Marietta City Schools is proud to announce Rhonda Staley-Harrison, Parapro at the Emily Lembeck Early Learning Center, as the November District Employee of the Month. As a special education Parapro, Rhonda has a nurturing heart that cares for each of her students. She has unmatched patience as she makes learning engaging. As ELC coordinator Meredith Crittendon says, Rhonda has a special gift for her students and is truly an advocate for them.
In her spare time, Rhonda loves to bake. She enjoys sharing that gift with others and showing how much they mean to her through her magnificent bakes. She also serves in the community by providing meals to those in need and she always does everything with a smile. We congratulate Rhonda on being the November District Employee of the Month.
