MHS Theatre Student

Marietta City Schools would like to congratulate Marietta High School (MHS) junior Wesley Harrison for being named an All-Star Theatre Tech student for the 2023 Georgia State Thespian Conference.

At last year’s conference, Wesley went through a rigorous interview and portfolio process in order to receive this award and become the only student selected from Georgia to stage manage the All-State Thespian production.

Wesley has had a love for theatre for many years. He has volunteered across the district, helping elementary, middle, and high school productions by serving on set, lights, sound, and stage manager crews. This past year, Wesley has managed a set of volunteers for his Eagle Scout project, which has included creating an organizational system for the props and costume rooms at MHS.
