MHS JROTC Members Excel During Season’s Final State Drill Meet, Mar. 25


MHS JROTC cadets competed against other “top” AFJROTC cadets at the Georgia State Drill Championship in Macon Georgia. The Blue Devils shined in performance and team spirit. Marietta individuals and competition teams placed in the top five in all but two of the competition events held on Saturday and they placed third overall in the Armed Division.

Armed Division:

3nd place Overall in Armed Division
4th place Armed Regulation Drill
3rd place Armed Inspection
3rd place Armed Color Guard
5th place Armed Exhibition Drill

Unarmed Division:

2nd place Unarmed Regulation Drill
5th place Unarmed Exhibition Drill
Cadet Deanna Wiley was names the Top Individual Driller in the State of Georgia
Cadet Jazmin Ewing was as the number two Unarmed Drill Team Commander in the State
Cadet Cooper Dolin took 2nd place overall in Individual Solo Exhibition Drill
Cadet Luis Altamirano took 3rd place overall in Individual Solo Exhibition Drill
Cadets Derrick Henderson and Xavier Scott took 2nd overall in the Dual Exhibition Drill
Cadets Daniela Garcia and Emily Sieber took 3rd overall in Individual Drill Regulation.
