Marietta City Schools' Academic Excellence Reflected in Latest CCRPI Scores
Marietta City Schools (MCS) released its annual College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) scores today, revealing continued progress and dedication to student achievement.
Elementary schools within the MCS district have made impressive gains. Data shows an average Content Mastery score of 73.8. The Marietta Center for Advanced Academics showcased academic excellence with a near-perfect Content Mastery score of 99.9. Additionally, MCS ranks in the top 20 for all districts in the state for elementary progress with a score of 93.2, upholding student academic growth among peers and reflecting the tremendous advancements in ELA, math, and English Language proficiency.
The district's commitment to closing educational gaps is evident, as the MCS elementary schools also reported an average Closing Gaps score of 82.7. AL Burruss, Marietta 6th Grade Academy, and Marietta Center for Advanced Academics highlighted this success with a perfect score of 100.0 in this category, reflecting the school's dedicated approach to ensuring all students' progress.

ACCESS for ELLs scores, which evaluate English language proficiency for speakers of other languages, revealed that nearly every MCS elementary school has achieved perfect or near-perfect scores. This significant accomplishment highlights the dedication and proficiency of both students and educators in our schools.
