"Community Conversations" town hall to guide new families through Kindergarten Registration

Marietta City Schools (MCS) continues the "Community Conversations" town hall series, focusing on Kindergarten Registration. Join us on Tuesday, March 19, from 7:30 to 8 p.m. for an engaging discussion that will equip families with essential information and simplify the kindergarten registration process.

Superintendent Dr. Grant Rivera will lead this town hall, offering insights as a registration guide and outlining the necessary steps for registration, including important documents, deadlines, and what families can expect as their students begin their educational journey. This initiative underscores our dedication to making the transition into kindergarten as smooth and welcoming as possible for both students and their families.

The "Community Conversations" series offers a unique opportunity for families to directly engage with Dr. Rivera, address any questions, and gain a thorough understanding of the kindergarten registration process and how it sets the stage for student success.

"Embarking on the kindergarten journey is a significant milestone for our young learners and their families. We're here to ensure that this transition is not just a step but a leap toward a bright educational future," said Dr. Rivera, "Our goal is to arm our families with the knowledge, resources, and support they need to navigate this process with confidence."

For families wanting additional insight into the process, there are resources and assistance available on our website
