Marietta City Schools (MCS) is proud to announce Ms. Victoria Hunter, Parent Liaison at Marietta Sixth Grade Academy (MSGA), as its April District Employee of the Month.
Victoria epitomizes the position of Parent Liaison. She has a strong passion for the success of MSGA’s students and for supporting their families. She is a great ambassador and serves the families not only at MSGA but in our entire district. Victoria’s communication skills are impeccable and she finds various ways to keep MSGA families informed and also connects MSGA to our elementary schools and Marietta Middle School.
She often takes on special projects to bring a different and special experience to each class of 6th graders, from organizing and facilitating special parent discussions and workshops to facilitating awards and honors for students to coordinating schoolwide assemblies and sports activities. Her love of basketball is apparent as she coaches the girls basketball team. Principal Corey Lawson said, “Victoria is quietly building a legacy that will not soon be forgotten.”
Additionally, Victoria has served in the capacity of PTA leadership, parent volunteer, and Partner In Education facilitator for MSGA. She is a life-long generational Blue Devil, proud graduate of MCS, and proud parent of three current Blue Devils.
We congratulate Ms. Victoria Hunter for being recognized as the April District Employee of the Month!
